Tetanos shot

Hi ! I finally had news from Tagari farm (Bill Mollison's Permaculture Institut in Tasmania) http://tagari.com/
and I can do Wwoofing there from next monday, for 2 weeks :-) I didn't have news so I already was planning my return to the mainland...and finally, that's all right. And that's funny because at the moment that's a couple that I already met on the other Permaculture Institut, who are managing the farm (because "Bill", 85, is in recovery). The only obligation to do wwoofing there was to have a tetanus vaccination (prevention). Like I didn't know when was my last (probably a longggg time ago, more than 10 years, so no more efficient), I did one this morning. Hazel call her doctor for me (thanks!). My surname and firstname are really unpronounceable, specially on the phone !!!  It was funny because the doctor didn't know why I was coming and thought it was for something "bad", because I'm foreigner! So he was disapointed when I explain to him, therefore he takes my blood pressure, just to feel useful ! (because the vaccination was made by a nurse, not the doctor). $116 consulation + vaccination, wonderful Australia...
So I'm staying in Hazel & Mike place until Monday morning, and after, finished the "hotel room", the computer, the car...and the good wine !! I will do 2 weeks wwoofing in Tagari (so I probably willn't have often internet) and will fly to Melbourne at the beginning of april.
Tonight I'm cooking a "petit sale lentilles" & a "tarte tatin" for dinner and Mike asked me what I want to eat on sunday dinner, for my last dinner :-) (he is the "cooking chef" on sunday night!)...

et je peux y faire du Wwoofing a partir de lundi prochain, pour 2 semaines :-) Je n'avais pas de nouvelles donc j'etais deja entrain de plannifier mon retour sur "l'ile principale"...and finalement, c'est ok ! Et c'est rigolo car en ce moment c'est un couple que j'ai deja rencontre a l'autre institut de permaculture, qui s'occupe de la ferme (car "Bill" , 85 ans, est en convalescence). La seule obligation pour y faire du wwoofing est d'etre vaccine contre le tetanos (en prevention). Comme je ne savais pas quand j'ai eu mon dernier rappel (probablement il y a tressssss longtemps, il y a plus de 10 ans, donc plus efficace), j'ai fait un vaccin ce matin. Hazel a appele son medecin pour moi (merci!). Mon nom et prenom sont vraiment imprononcables, surtout au telephone !!! c'est tout le temps un casse-tete! C'etait drole car le docteur ne savait pas pourquoi je venais et pensait que c'etait pour quelque chose de "grave", parce que je suis etrangere (et que du coup on s'amuse pas a aller chez le medecin pour un rien)! Donc il etait decu quand je lui ai explique, du coup il a quand pris ma tension, histoire de se sentir utile! (car c'est un infirmier qui m'a vaccine, pas le docteur). $116 consultation+vaccin , youpi, super l'Australie !! (j'espere me faire rembourser la consultation au moins).
Donc je reste chez Hazel & Mike jusqu'a lundi matin, et apres, fini la "chambre d'hotel", l'ordi, la voiture...et le bon vin!!  Je vais faire 2 semaines de wwoofing a Tagari (donc je ne vais surement pas avoir internet aussi souvent) et je vais aller a Melbourne debut avril.
Ce soir je cuisine un petit sale lentilles et une tarte tatin  et Mike m'a demande ce que je voulais pour mon dernier diner dimanche soir :-) (c'est lui le chef cuisto le dimanche soir!)...
